The monster under my bead stretches out its long claws
Trying to pull me under
Into the depths of boogie man land
where lost toys and the memories of childhood reside
he wants me to be a captive prisoner
under my bed
across the room my closet door opened
I see the yellow eyes of another fiend
Slowly slithering its way into the open
The shadowed creature wants me to follow him
Attempting to scare me
Attempting to grab at my feet with its tentacles
And attempting to hit me, hurt me
I stand up on my bed grab a flashlight
Leaping to the floor
I shine it at the monster from the closet
He discinagrates
Then I shine it at the monster on the floor
he disappears back into boogie man land
I scream “I’ve had enough!”
That was the last night they ever troubled me again
Snow white hair and skin
Huge black eyes
His name was fallen
He had humongous wings that stretched out for days
And a cunning smile that melted my heart
I found him when he had
Fallen from the heavens above
I rescued him and nursed him back to health
He told me that I was the first human he’d ever seen
And he was happy I was the first
He said he had sined and was forced down
He had to become human and his wings
His god like appearance would fade
I looked at the poor creature
His shiny dark eyes and broken wings
the feathers had already started to fall
and he was starting to form a tan
he was still georgious and still kind hearted
I wonder what he had done to sin
He read my mind
“I thought for myself”
Angels are programed to be like gods robots
That’s why humans have free will
Days passed he and I spent a lot of time together
And when his wings were gone
And his hair had become a short moppy blond style
He went out into the world for the first time
She walked with me
Hand n hand
People looked at me
I know they were making snyde comments
Fallen looked at me
“why do they think those things? Your beautiful”
I told him in the world
I was not considered beautiful
I was homely and ugly and I meant nothing to the world
He looked at me harder
“I wish you could have lived in heaven with me”
That made me smile
He and I went to a lovely restrant that evening
I wore a georgious silk hippy dress
And he loved it
He loved me
Fallen got down on one knee
stared at me with his still dark eyes
“will you marry me?”
I said yes and he placed a rock on my finger
“I love you fallen”
